Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 29 April 2026. This is the plain-language version. We don't sell your data, we don't share it for ad targeting, and we keep only what we genuinely need to do the job you hired us for.

1. Who we are
Pixel Architecture is a brand and project operated by Pixel Labs. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean Pixel Labs operating the Pixel Architecture service at pixelarchitecture.dev. This policy applies to that website, our marketing, and our client engagements.
2. What we collect
We collect three categories of information, and only what is necessary for each category:
- Information you give us directly — name, company, email, phone (optional), project details, and anything you write in the contact form, the chat widget, or by email.
- Anonymous usage data — page views, referrer, device type, country, performance metrics. Collected through Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights, which do not use cookies and do not identify individuals.
- Calendly booking data — name, email, time zone, and any answers you give Calendly when you schedule a call. This is stored by Calendly under their own privacy policy.
We do not set advertising cookies, build behavioural profiles, or sell or rent your data to anyone. Ever.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and propose the right scope and pricing.
- To deliver the service you hired us for (a website build, a portal, ongoing support).
- To send transactional messages — proposals, contracts, invoices, project updates.
- To improve the website (which pages are useful, where it's slow, what's broken).
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, contracts, statutory retention).
If you opt into the "Field notes" newsletter, we'll also send you occasional educational emails. One-click unsubscribe in every message.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the small set of vendors that help us run the service:
- Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure, plus privacy-friendly analytics & speed insights.
- Calendly — calendar booking for the free discovery call.
- Anthropic — powers the on-site AI chat assistant. Your messages are sent to the Claude API to generate a reply and are not used by Anthropic to train models on the consumer plan we use.
- Email provider — used to send and receive correspondence (currently Google Workspace).
- Accounting / payments — Wise, Stripe, or similar, only when you become a paying client.
We will never sell your data, share it for ad targeting, or hand it to third parties for their own marketing.
5. Cookies & analytics
The site itself sets no analytics cookies. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless by design. The only cookies you may encounter are functional ones set by third-party widgets you actively use (for example, Calendly's session cookie when you open the booking calendar).
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become projects — 24 months, then deleted.
- Active client records — for the duration of the engagement, plus 7 years for tax and contractual reasons.
- Newsletter subscribers — until you unsubscribe (one click).
- Anonymous analytics — aggregated, no individual record retained.
7. Your rights
If you live in the EU, UK, or California (or somewhere with similar laws), you have the right to:
- See what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to the retention rules above).
- Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Take your data with you (portability).
- Withdraw consent at any time.
Email our address with the subject line "Privacy request" and we'll respond within 30 days, usually faster.
8. Security
We host on Vercel's edge network with TLS encryption, restrict access to client data on a need-to-know basis, store nothing sensitive in the static codebase, and keep API keys server-side. The on-site chatbot proxies through a serverless function so the model API key is never exposed to the browser. We log no chat content beyond what's needed to debug failures, and we purge those logs on a rolling 30-day window.
9. Children
This site and service are aimed at construction-business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we'll update this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For active clients we'll also email a summary of the change.
11. How to reach us
Privacy questions, data requests, or corrections: our email. Postal: Pixel Labs (attn: Pixel Architecture). We respond within one business day.
This page is plain-language guidance. The legally binding terms of any engagement are set in your signed contract.
